Pollin8 and Gruntify turn IoT and AI into Action

In a world first, New Zealand-based Pollin8 Ltd and Brisbane-based Gruntify Pty Ltd will transform remote monitoring data and insights into precision labour instructions.

Pollin8 director Nick Pickering said the new cross-Tasman partnership will ensure remote monitoring and analytics achieve their potential in government and agricultural sectors.

“Together our companies will assist the right people to review their analytics dashboards and generate clear workflow instructions. Our Pollin8 platform provides the same affordable remote monitoring solutions and analytics as other vendors in the market.” Mr Pickering said.

“However, by leveraging Gruntify’s workforce automation tools, we can now help users to encode their business rules automatically on top of the data to create tasks,” he said.

Mr Pickering said generating precision tasks show staff where to go, when to go and what exactly to do.

“This takes the guess work out of managing a remote workforce across smart cities, industry 4.0 and the agriculture sectors,” he said.

Brisbane-based Gruntify CEO and founder Igor Stjepanovic said his workflow platform would increase the return on investment of remote monitoring solutions. “By using Gruntify long term, strategic decision-making tools can add short-term operation value,” he said.

“I’m looking forward to working with Pollin8 to combine remote monitoring analytics with Gruntify’s workforce optimisation tools,” Mr Stepanovic said.
