We are very excited to announce that we have secured three very exciting projects in three cities across the USA, through the Startup in Residence (STIR) Program.
The Startup in Residence (STIR) Program connects startups with local governments to develop technology products that solve real civic challenges. During a 16-week program, startups work with government partners and mentors to understand their pain points and build a working product. Teams then share their products with the government staff, media and investors on the Demo Day. By the end of the residency, the government partners can choose to negotiate a contract for the product.
Chosen from over 150 applicants, Gruntify was picked to provide an innovative and “value for money” technology solution for three government partners in some of the most technologically advanced cities in the USA. They were so impressed with what Gruntify can do and how it could single-handedly revolutionize their current workflows, that all three cities we were shortlisted for actually ended up picking us to create their solutions! We are beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to work with these cities and build something that can be used for many years to come.
Our CEO and Founder, Igor Stjepanovic and our newly appointed COO, Jeff Portwain, will be flying over to the USA next week to conduct scoping workshops and sign contracts to begin our 16-week journey! More exciting news to come!
